
We are able to offer support for your internet systems in a number
of ways. A brief summary of common support requirements is given
below. This is by no means a complete list but should give a flavour
of the level and nature of the internet support services we have
to offer.
Legacy Domain Support
Many of our customers come to us with "legacy" domains
that have been registered through any number of domain registrars
and in many cases these domains, though paid for, cannot be utilised
fully due to draconian registration terms and/or a lack of control
panel access. We have a wealth of experience in this area and
can normally regain control of these domains within a few days.
Once the process is complete you will have full control panel
access for the domain.
Email Troubleshooting
In an ideal world, when you hit the send button you expect your
email message to arrive at it's destination - what do you do if
it doesn't ? Using a combination of techniques we can track your
email through the internet, allowing us to find problem mail servers
and notify their owners of the problem.
Receiving mail can also cause problems and, again, we are regularly
called on by our customers to clear "jammed" mailboxes
on a number of ISP's servers. Clearing pop3 "mailbox could
not be opened" errors.
Server Management
When your server requirements grow beyond the
scope of a simple hosting service you may need to consider a dedicated
server for your needs. We offer a full configuration and support
service that gives you the best of both worlds - a dedicated server
with support and configuration a phone call away. As part of this
support service we also install security upgrades and monitor
your system for suspicious activity. We also offer a backup system
for key files on your system.
